These extremely fast
acquisition hunting sights feature a contrasting white on black front
post, perfect for low light conditions, and draws immediate focus to
the front sight post for faster referral on target. Large Ghost-Ring
aperture, fully adjustable for windage/elevation, affords great field
of view for faster target and front sight acquisition. Sets include
both .230" and .191" apertures. Easy install Ð in most cases matching
existing holes, requires minimum if any gunsmithing.

Windage
 |
Windage adjustments are
accomplished by the use of opposing windage screws. |
|
|
Backing off the windage screw on
one side and tightening the opposite windage screw allows the
dovetail slide and aperture to move in the desired direction. |
|
|
Adjust the sight in the same
direction that you want the bullet impact to move.
|
|
|
Each 90° turn of the windage screw
will move the bullet impact approximately one inch at 100 yards. |
|
|
The AO Ghost-Ring Aperture Sight
provides approximately 15 inches of total windage adjustment based
on a 24 inch sight radius.

Adjusting for Windage and Elevation

Elevation
|
|
The stem
of the aperture is threaded. |
|
|
Turning
the aperture clockwise or counterclockwise in the dovetail slide
accomplishes elevation adjustments. |
|
|
First
back off one of the windage screws one full turn. By backing off
only one windage screw, windage will not be changed. Turn the
aperture counterclockwise to raise the bullets point of impact.
Turn the aperture clockwise to lower the point of impact. |
|
|
Retighten the windage screw. |
|
|
Each
180° turn of the aperture will move the bullet impact
approximately one inch at 100 yards. The AO Ghost-Ring Aperture
Sight provides approximately 18 inches of total windage adjustment
based on a 24 inch sight radius.
