The "Hunter's Hatchet" combines American-made high-carbon "S-7" tool steel and hand-rubbed, oil-finished American hickory handles. 10 1/2 “ overall length with a 1" wide squared-off flat back to enable you to drive a tent stake or spike. The cutting edge is 2-1/2" and the total head length is 4-1/4". Each hatchet is annealed, double-drawn and cyrogenically treated for superior blade strength and edge holding. Includes an   oiled leather belt sheath.

 Hunter's Hatchet

Both our wood and bone saws are full tang and double-riveted with a flared-brass lanyard sleeve. Each "Suregrip" handle has deep finger grooves to prevent hand slippage in wet conditions. Yes, this sturdier construction costs more, but the end result is high quality. For the wood saw, we designed an extremely aggressive tooth pattern that will facilitate quick cutting. The bone saw has a finer tooth pattern that cuts bone smoothly and effortlessly. Finally, both saw blades are made from SK-5 stainless steel, a high-grade steel proven to make excellent quality saws. With proper care and cleaning after use, these saws will last a lifetime.
