 We made the Catseye as bright as we possibly could by doing a lot of small things and a few big things. First, we started out with extra large objective lenses to gather in as much light as possi- ble. Camera quality glass was used, ground to exact specifications, to give them a clear, undistorted, flat image. The objective and occular lenses were fully coated to provide the brightest possible view without glare and reflections. Then to brighten up the shadow areas, we added just a splash of amber tint. This subtle tint is hardly noticeable in sunlight, but helps a hunter to pick out his target easier against dark backgrounds.

We not only made the objective lens large, we made the occular lens have a larger diameter than most scopes. This combination creates a big 4" to 5" eye relief without reducing your field of view, and a larger exit pupil which allows your eye to receive as much light as possible. This translates into making target acquisition faster and more natural. You don't have to hunt to find your image when game is on the move.

We have made the reticle more visible in low light by using the European style reticle and making the posts heavier iat the sides and bottom. This makes ithe reticle easier to see against thick cover and dark timber.
