Talk about makers with a style of their own! Steve Ryan, one of the plethora
of new knifemakers, has a style so much his own that the new collaboration with Columbia
River Knife & Tool screams out his name. The Columbia
River knives Ryan Model 7 is as distinctive a folding
knife as I have seen, and I have seen a lot of them. The 4-1/2” handle of the Ryan
Model 7 is covered with a deeply textured micarta-like material that
gives the knife the most secure possible grip. Ryan Model 7 knives have
deep bellied, 3-1/2” drop point blade of AUS6M stainless steel at 55-57 Rc.,
can either cut, slash, or chop. The deep finger notch in the handle gives the
most positive of control. This knife has a removable belt clip and large, double
thumb studs for positive opening. The Columbia River knives LAWKS® safety
effectively turns this folder into a fixed blade knife when locked. It assures
that the Walker-Lock cannot unlock accidentally. Weighs 5.7 oz. |
