Our Quick Detach mounts for the ITT 6015 and PVS14 night vision monoculars are designed to go rapidly and easily from a head/helmet mount or hand surveillance to a weapon mount. Our unique Q.D. ring remains attached to the night vision monocular at all times and interfaces with the weapon’s mount in mere seconds. Removal of mount components is not required to mount quickly and directly to a head or helmet mount. This flexibility is essential in tactical encounters. Both of these Q.D. mounts permit optical co-alignment with sights, such as the Aimpoint or EOTech HOLOsight, that may be mounted in front of the night vision scope. Our standard Q.D. mount was designed for use with the GG&G FIRE System Scout Rail. With this combination of components, the ITT 6015 or PVS14 viewing image will clear the AR15/M16’s front sight post and the unit itself will have sufficient clearance over our MAD or A2 Flip Up Rear Sights. For those who prefer to mount the ITT 6015 or PVS14 directly to a flat top receiver, the Tall Q.D. mount will provide the necessary optical clearance over the front sight. When an Aimpoint is mounted in front of the Tall Q.D. PVS14 mount, one of our Cantilever Rings will be required to clear the front sight post and provide proper eye relief for the night vision/Aimpoint combination. These mounts are fully compatible with MIL-STD-1913 dovetails and the GG&G FIRE System. All parts are manufactured from ordnance steel and aerospace aluminum and are finished to mil spec. |

There is little doubt that the ITT 6015 and PVS14 night vision monoculars are rugged and well built. But lets face it. These are expensive pieces of equipment and are not only valuable from a monetary stand point, but tactically as well. A hard side impact and the unit can be damaged and rendered inoperable. It is imperative that when not in use, you keep it safe from the elements and the rigors of combat. The soft case included with most ITT monoculars is nice, but will not protect the night vision unit from impacts. The small hard case previously available is certainly tough but does not lend itself to being easily carried into tactical situations. GG&G is now offering The NVM (Night Vision Monocular) Battle Pac, a protective polymer hard case to accommodate the ITT 6015 and PVS14 monocular. The NVM Battle Pac is contoured and fitted so as to securely and safely hold these units in the toughest of conditions. This innovative hard case is designed to hold these units with the mounting ring for the GG&G QD Night Vision Mount attached, so there is no hassle with going from case to mount. It also holds two spare AA batteries. Although the unit is not completely submersible, the overlapping lid provides protection from rain and snow. It is small enough, 5"X5.5" to fit in a ruck sack or can be attached to any belt or webbing up to 2.5 inches wide. |
