Conceived and hand-made in about 1845, the Hen & Rooster® brand had a modest beginning. The small cutlery manufacturing facility of old has produced what many consider to be some of the “Worlds Finest Cutlery Since 1845”. The Hen & Rooster® logo is synonymous with high grade cutlery and superior workmanship exemplified by each manufactured knife.
Since then, Hen and Rooster has developed a long history of making premium quality knives. Quality is the key to Hen and Roosters long term success. With the use of 440 Stainless blades, solid brass liners, and nickel silver bolsters, many of the Hen and Rooster knives involve up to 125 single operations to complete assembly.
