How does the SST reach this higher level of performance? It all starts with a premium-polymer tip that begins working the instant you pull the trigger. The sharp tip and the bullet's profile combine to improve the SST's ballistic coefficient. But the tip's job doesn't end there. In fact, it's only just begun. On impact, the tip is pushed backward into the lead core to initiate immediate expansion.
