For those of you who travel to other
people's offices or to the courthouse to roll fingerprints, here are two
professional-looking and convenient-to-use fingerprint tables. Because most
locations outside of the police department do not have work stations of the
proper height for rolling fingerprints, you may have to work on a desk or
table which is not the appropriate height. The legs of these tables fold
down and sit on a desk or table and will be the correct height for rolling
prints. The photographs to the right and below show the table with legs
folded up inside the carrying case and with the legs open for use. This
folding table-top system has a Porelon® pad on it. With the Porelon® ink
pad, hand cleaner or ink remover towelettes are necessary to remove the ink
from the hands. Each Porelon® pad will yield about 15,000 fingerprint images
and refill pads are available (Cat No. .2-1115). This unit includes a
carrying case.
