Nancy Masters, in her book Safety for the Forensic Identification Specialist, says, "A latex glove provides no protection when working with solvents such as acetone, methanol or petroleum ether. Organic solvents will penetrate the latex material and the skin of your hands as though bare. Match your gloves to the chemicals (hazardous material) you handle." Nitrile gloves protect against the chemicals associated with latent print development.

These gloves are heavy quality and can be used for formal inspections, parades, funerals or for handling evidence where you do not want to leave your prints. They are left and right handed and can be washed for use again and again. For best fit, these gloves are sized.
