Here is a new camera from Polaroid
which allows you to take five different ranges of pictures. There is a
setting for 0.2x, 0.4x, 1x, 2x and 3x. Imagine being able to take a
one-to-one, life-size photo of an object and then take a 3-time enlargement
of the same object by just turning a dial on the camera. There are no
attachments to add or lenses to change. Light-beam focusing means not having
to guess or estimate the correct camera-to-subject distance. Also, nothing
comes in contact with the subject.
Use the 0.2x lens for shoeprints,
graffiti, and mug shots. Use the 0.4x lens for close-up shots to show
bruises on the face, for example. Use the 1x lens for capturing
fingerprints, tattoos, or serial numbers. The 2x lens can be used to record
needle track marks or to enlarge fingerprints. The 3x lens can enlarge
objects even more. These are only a few examples.
Single lens reflex viewing
guarantees accurate subject framing. A grid screen in the viewfinder also
helps maintain consistency from picture to picture. The
micro-processor-controlled exposure system automatically sets the exposure
for each picture. Dual electronic flash units provide even illumination at
all magnifications. They may be used individually or together. For
additional documentation using the date or time, users can select a variety
of date/time sequences.
The camera uses Spectra High
Definition film or grid film. There are no pictures to time or to peel
apart. Picture size is 4 x 4.06 inches with the image size being 3.6 x 2.9
inches. The weight is about 4 pounds. Ranging lights are powered by 4 AA
batteries. The warranty for the camera is one year. |
