Each time a new roll of film is
started at a crime scene, the first exposure should be of a card listing the
case number, the date and the photographer. Each of these Photo Identifier
cards has a gray scale and a color scale and has spaces for writing the
necessary information to be included in the first exposure. They can also be
used later in the roll of film to be placed next to a person or object to
take advantage of the inch marks on the edge of the card. Submit the cards
with the roll of film so the darkroom technician can match the gray scale
and the colors to produce a color-accurate photograph. These cards are
available in two sizes: 8 1/2" x 11" and 4" x 5 3/8". There are twenty-five
sheets to the pad. |
