ScrubCare™ absorbs quickly and is
non-greasy. The purpose of using ScrubCare™ before putting on your gloves is
to give you added protection from any biological contaminants you might come
across when handling bloody or wet evidence. It is strongly suggested that
you put a layer of ScrubCare™ on your hands before gloving or rolling
fingerprints on prisoners or citizens. The intent is not to scare you into
using ScrubCare™, but rather to offer a way of protecting yourself against
the all-too-real danger of contagious disease. New OSHA regulations and
increased concern for HIV means people working at crime scenes, with
evidence, or who fingerprint other people need ScrubCare™. It contains 0.5%
parachlorometa-xylenol (PCMX) as the active ingredient. Keep the small,
four-ounce bottle in your crime scene kit or vehicle and the convenient pump
bottle in the lab or fingerprint station. |
