This kit comes with a Non-Contact Close-up lens. There are two lights that project on to a surface. When they meet and form one dot, the object is in focus. You avoid touching bloody or contaminated surfaces.

You can use this system for the photography of fluorescent latent prints. Using the 1:1 Copy Stand with the camera, open the door on the side of the stand to illuminate the latent prints. With the light from the fiber optic, liquid light guide or light direct from the Forensic Light Source or UV lamp, the latent prints developed with Blitz-Greenª magnetic fluorescent powder can be photographed directly in the otherwise darkened Copy Stand. There is no need to darken the entire room. When using an ultraviolet lamp, there is no need for any colored or barrier filters to take the photograph. However, when using a Forensic Light Source, you will need to use the same colored barrier filter on the camera as the pair of goggles you are wearing to view the print. Since orange is the most common color required, we have made a small rectangular filter which will fit inside the 1:1 Copy Stand for photography with a Forensic Light Source.
