The Personal Water Purifier (PWP) has been specifically designed to exacting standards and produces safe drinking water from sources in which high levels of bacterial, viral and parasitic contamination are present. The PWP will also remove organic matter which exists in most natural water sources, improving taste, smell and appearance of the water. The PWP provides all the treatment necessary to produce water that is safe and pleasant to drink. Compact and easy to use, The PWP will purify 265 US gallons. Flow rate 0,05 US gallons per minute. Developed from the highly successful PWP, The MWP is designed to meet requirements where size and weight are critical. A highly compact unit, MWP uses the proven system to provide safe drinking water from contaminated sources by elimination of pathogenic organisms - bacteria, viruses and cysts. In operation the source water is initially filtered, cleaning the water and removing organic matter as well as chemical contamination. This is followed by disinfection using an iodine-resin complex which acts as a contact microbiocide but also releases a low level of iodine into the water for secondary disinfection. Secondary disinfection occurs during the recommended holding period. The MWP will purify up to 132 US gallons of water before having to replace the cartridges. The SWP is designed to meet specific requirements for treatment of water in emergency or survival conditions. Using the proven filtration and sterilization system the Pocket/ SWP will provide safe drinking water from contaminated sources. Size and weight have been kept to a minimum for inclusion in emergency ration packs and survival kits. In operation the source water is initially filtered, cleaning the water as well as chemical contamination. This is followed by disinfection using an iodine-resin complex which acts as a contact microbiocide but also releases a low level of iodine into the water for secondary disinfection. Secondary disinfection occurs during the recommended holding period. The SWP is convenient to use and will not block due to its high filtration capability and in-built pump. The rated capacity of The SWP is 26 US gallons, at which point it should be discarded. Has a flow rate of 0.05 US gallons per minute. Unit Weight: 3 oz. |
