RC-130 Mechanical Scale

The new RC-130 low-cost scale has many of the same quality features that you can find in our other scales. A precision-machined aluminum beam means that weight increments are accurate and repeatable. You don't get that in a scale with a plastic beam!

Beam poises are metal plates, just like higher-priced scales. They're designed to be easy to adjust and to stay put after you set them. True magnetic dampening completes the picture to allow fast, stable, and accurate readings. The critical beam pivots are steel-on-steel, not steel-on-aluminum like another company uses. The pivot bearings are cylindrical for the smallest possible contact area -- ensuring better accuracy.

The RC-130 weighs to 130 grains with an accuracy of 0.1 grain. The sturdy base and easy-to-read index bar are molded from tough ABS polymer. The newly-designed non-static powder pan with integral hanger allows easy transfer of powder to the cartridge case. And naturally the RC-130 is backed by the RCBS lifetime guarantee.

The legendary standard in mechanical scales. The 5-0-5 features our magnetic dampening system plus large black-on-white graduations for fast recognition. Its three-poise beam is graduated in ten, one and 0.1 grain increments. A tip-proof aluminum pan keeps powder from sticking or spilling. Hardened knives ride on agate bearings for long life and sensitivity. There's even ounce-to-grain conversion on the base for shotshell reloaders. Capacity: 511 grains. A metric version with a capacity of 50.5 grams is also available.
