Natural Lube 1000+ Bore Butter

A biodegradable all natural lubricant which contains no petroleum-based oil or additives. Reacts differently (chemically) to the combustion of black powder, producing far less "tar like" fouling. 5 oz. tube ideally suited for easy application on patches. Also, can be used to field lube bullets. Excellent rust preventative on external surfaces of any firearm. Comes in Natural or Pine Scent. The picture of the .50 cal. New Englander on the left had 1,015 shots fired through it. During that time, it never had a patch put through it. It was never cleaned; not even once! Pillow Ticking Patches
Pillow ticking was originally designed to be used in the manufacturing of pillow covers. An extremely tight weave 100% cotton fabric was needed to keep the feather quills from poking through the fabric. The U.S. Government went so far as to create a set of specifications which had to be adhered to by vendors who manufactured this material for the military (these patches match those military specs). Shooters learned long ago that the same properties which existed in pillow ticking were conductive to making excellent round ball patches. The tight weave 100% cotton fabric was rugged, resisted tearing and prevented burn-through. T/C offers pillow ticking patches pre-lubricated with Natural Lube 1000 Plus.
