This kit consists of target hammer with shims, EDM disconnector, EDM sear, and target trigger with overtravel adjustment, trigger plunger with an improved radius, trigger plunger spring, and a special hammer spring. Also included is a recoil buffer to reduce wear on the action and/or bolt. The HP action kit will give the shooter one of the most crisp, clean trigger pulls available. The kit also includes an extended magazine release. Reduces trigger pull down to approximately 2.75lbs.

The "Snake" fluted barrel is completely unique to the target barrel market. The flutes are positioned around the barrel to give unsurpassed rigidity and longitudinal stiffness. The "Snake" flutes also increase surface area to help in cooling. It provides considerably more surface area than a conventional straight flute of the same length. The "Snake" flute is not a spiral (helical) flute nor is it a straight conventional flute but a completely new, unique method of cut fluting. This fluting is not only cut for its functional purposes but also gives the barrel a completely new appearance. The forward blow comp is another added feature on the "Snake" barrel. This comp is designed to direct gases and noise away from the shooter. As with all Volquartsen barrels, this digitally gauged barrel features a match chamber, bore and crown to assure the utmost in accuracy. 20.5" overall length, weighs approx 3lb 1oz.

The Trigger Guard 2000 is a complete CNC machined trigger guard equipped with precision EDM parts. It features an internal pretravel adjustment that is set at the factory in order to greatly reduce pretravel usually found on the factory trigger guard. This new match trigger guard is CNC machined from a solid billet of high strength aircraft aluminum. The hammer is a precision ground 440C stainless steel hardened component of 58 Rc. The sear and disconnector are EDM manufactured parts made of A2 hardened tool steel with tolerances being held to +/- .0002" assuring every trigger let off to be extremely consistent. The trigger is black anodized and equipped with an overtravel adjustment screw. The trigger is reset internally to eliminate any dragging or inconsistencies caused by a conventional trigger plunger. The TG2000 comes with our own custom springs. An automatic bolt release and an extended magazine release are also included. Our new competition trigger guard is machined to give a superb, crisp trigger that will provide years of enjoyment to the shooter who demands the very best.
