New Dimension File Type Trim
Die
If you're only trimming one caliber of cases, a
file-type trim die is the most economical way to do it. Simply screw
the die into your press, tighten the lock ring, raise a case into the
die, and use a file to trim away the portion of case protruding above
the top of the die. Trim dies are made of hardened steel so they will
not be damaged by filing cases to length. Standard threads fit most
presses. Includes a SureLoc lock ring.
New Dimension Necksize Dies
Better accuracy is often achieved by neck-sizing cases
only. When returned to the chamber of the rifle, neck-size cases
almost always fit perfectly. Problems associated with excessive head
space are eliminated and the new bullet is in nearly perfect alignment
with the bore. Neck-sizing also contributes to longer case life.
Neck-size dies should be used ONLY for bolt action rifles.
Autoloaders, lever actions and pump actions usually require full
length resizing. Because of the universal
design, you can neck-size various cartridges in the same diameter
without having to buy separate dies For example, you can use the same
neck-size die for a 284 Win. and a 7MM Rem. Mag. without having to buy
separate dies. Hornady
